How tiffin delivery actually works in Perth
From 5am prep to your desk by noon — a step-by-step walkthrough of a single tiffin's journey.
At 5am the head chef and prep team arrive at Osborne Park to start the day's dals and sabzis. Fresh vegetables were delivered from Wanneroo Market the night before; spices are ground in-house every Sunday.
By 10am, cooked food is portioned into insulated stainless steel tiffins — each one labeled with the customer's suburb code and delivery window. Our five delivery partners load the vans between 10:30 and 11.
Deliveries run from 11:15 to 12:45, following a route optimized around lunchtime — Subiaco first (closest to the kitchen), then Leederville, Northbridge, West Perth, and finally Mount Lawley. Empty tiffins are collected between 3 and 4pm on the same day.
