Six chefs, five delivery partners, one dispatcher, and a lot of stainless steel — the humans making Perth's tiffins.
There are exactly 12 people on the Perth operations team today. Six chefs handle prep, cooking, and quality checks. Five delivery partners run the routes. One dispatcher — Priya, who used to run logistics at Australia Post — keeps everything on time.
Every chef trained in India before joining us: three in Mumbai, two in Ahmedabad, one in Amritsar. They rotate the daily menu between Gujarati, Punjabi, Marathi, and South Indian cuisines so the calendar never repeats within a fortnight.
Our delivery partners are all locally hired, mostly students from UWA and Curtin. They're paid above-award and receive a share of every tip — a policy we've had since the pilot launched and won't change.
